If you are serious about bread then we know just the place. Brothaus Bakery located in Business Bay offers freshly baked German breads and bakery treats for breakfast from 7:30 in the morning.
We personally love nothing more than a loaf of freshly baked bread and this quaint and rustic bakery offers exactly that. The décor is warm and inviting-there is also a very tempting bread wall that is filled with all types of European loaves.
Depending on your taste there are sweet and savoury breads to choose from- mini cinnamon rolls (3 pieces for 10 AED), Danish pastry 12 AED), butter croissant (9 AED), kornspitz (3 AED), wholegrain spelt (18 AED), multiseed classic (3 AED) and plenty more including pretzels.
The bakery offers an extensive dine-in breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. It consists of nutritious salads and hot dishes. We tried the Lobster Bisque (38 AED), tasty and smooth, we wiped the bowl clean with the help of the bread. Our order of the Grilled Chillean Seabass (85 AED) was served with saffron risotto, beetroot anise emulsion and glazed broad beans.
This is not a place for those with a gluten issue but for those who love bread as much as we do, Brothaus Bakery is an absolute delight.
