From the sleek vibes of Tokyo to the mystical charm of Bangkok, embark on a journey through Asia told through live performances, curated beats, and bold, unforgettable flavours. The Asian-inspired cuisine, stylish interiors, and laid-back vibe that transports you to a mystical place, you never imagined.

Once we took our seats beneath towering golden ceilings, the energy subtly shifted, as Sakura’s Secret blossomed. It was a living, breathing odyssey with something to impress every sense. From vibrant expression, sensorial surprises, electrifying music to intriguing live performances, Buddha-Bar Dubai created a theatrical ambience that is unique and unimaginable.

From the Umbrella Elegance, where silk robes twirl, to the mesmerising Aerial Tale of Luck, every performance evoked a mystery and grandeur of Eastern culture, inspiring curiosity and captivating the senses. We were transported to a world where dynasties breathe, geishas dance, and golden dragons stir. The evening unfolded in acts, moving from one story to the next through performance, soundscapes, and intrigue.

Threading the entire evening together is the unmistakable sound of Buddha Bar Dubai’s signature live music – a hypnotic blend of oriental beats, world rhythms, and deep house that evolves as the night progresses.

While the performance elevates the senses, the culinary experience complements the multi-sensory story. We enjoyed the cold starters, including the Papaya Salad, inspired by Thailand’s beloved Som Tum. The Maguro Tataki Goma Dare, a dish that captures the soul of modern Japan, is a must-try. The briny fresh Sashimi and Sushi platters are all meticulously prepared.

For mains, the dishes are inspired by kitchens across Asia. The Steamed Chilean Sea Bass, served with bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, and a light soy emulsion, delivers East Asian with a modern twist. The Wok-Seared Cantonese Beef delivers bold, wok-charred flavours with rich soy glaze and crisp vegetables-served with that unmistakable Buddha-Bar touch. The signature Roasted Duck is rich and tender, and full of flavour-it quietly steals the spotlight!

We ended with The Snow, a delicate creation of coconut crémeux, and refreshing pineapple-mango, a perfect sweet finale to this unforgettable sensory journey.
