Naughty Pizza is a contemporary Neapolitan pizzeria in Dubai.
Dubai’s pizza scene has come a long way and now competition is fierce. We first heard about the family-run Naughty Pizza, from a friend who lives in the neighbourhood. The space is charming and approachable, featuring an Amalfi Coast-inspired decor, complete with lemon trees hanging from the ceiling.
The menu is concise and indulgent. Starters are necessary but the Sicilian classic truffle arancini served with homemade potato chips caught our attention-crispy and gooey, the volcano resembling creation also passed the cheese-pull test. Incredibly indulgent, it was just too good!
We then went onto the moreish pizza section which is the highlight. Too greedy to choose just one, we ended up with three different options. We picked beef brisket, truffle, and finally marinara base.
The pizzas arrived piping hot from the custom-made pizza ovens. We couldn’t help but appreciate the airy, charred cornicione puffs, while its softer middle was holding up the toppings perfectly. Needless to say the toppings were simple but superb.
Using the highest-quality flour straight from the mills of Molini Pizzuti, they use a secret fermentation process to raise the dough for the fluffiest, lightest crust. Sourcing the freshest ingredients – such as our San Marzano tomatoes grown on Mount Vesuvio, the based is smooth and perfectly crafted.  We have to say that the cheese is their secret weapon-the Fior Di Latte cheese comes fresh from the small town of Agerola in Campania and it is rightfully described as, ‘the best-tasting cheese for a pizza.’
Even after all that, we couldn’t resist ordering the tiramisu and it somehow vanished in minutes despite our initial protestations.
So, is Naughty Pizza worth the hype? We’d say so.
