We have always been fans of Margaret Dabbs, a tried and tested brand for nailcare. That is why were excited to accept an invitation by Project Beauty to try their nail salon called T’sume (Japanese for nails).
Project Beauty on Al Was Road is a new, go-to destination for ladies looking for bespoke luxury beauty treatments. This beauty spa incorporates two concepts — The Wax Studio, which offers waxing with Lycon, LVL lash treatments and Lash Perfect Extensions and for nails and facials, T’Sume (Japanese for Nails) using only Margaret Dabbs for manicure & pedicure plus the globally acclaimed Biologique Recherche for bespoke facials. Project Beauty also has a philanthropic side to them. With every spend of Dh100 or more, the company will donate one reusable sanitary pad to a foundation supporting impoverished and vulnerable women in Kenya.
We picked the Supreme Manicure and Pedicure (280 AED). The process is essentially the same with trimming and filing of the nails, cutting the cuticles, scrubbing off the dead skin and dipping the hands and feet in water before a relaxing massage and application of nail color. It is however, the execution and the care with which each step is performed that makes the experience luxurious.
They use all Margaret Dabbs products and tools and you can feel and see the high-end quality. This treatment is an absolute treat for the hands and feet and a must-try if you want to pamper yourself.
