A supremely nourishing facial that has us hooked!
If you have been looking into investing in a solid skincare brand then the name 111Skin probably rings a bell. It first caught our attention when we heard raving reviews about their Celestial Black Diamond Eye Mask. Although the heavy price tag did make us hesitate (for a second), we did add it to your shopping cart and haven’t looked back since!
The complete skincare range from exfoliator to eye masks (our absolute favourite!) have all been created using clinical expertise. These products are all clinically-engineered, clean, aesthetician-grade skincare that you can use at home.
We were invited to their first Spa/Clinic in the UAE at the stunning Jumeirah Saadiyat Beach Resort. It may seem like a long distance to travel but we would do it for our skin! Our aesthetician Nadya, works out of the Harley Street location, but was in town for the official launch.
We began with a consultation where Nadya asked us about our skin concerns and daily skincare regime. She then suggested we try the THE ORIGINAL DRAMATIC HEALING FACIAL (800 AED)-and clearly it is exactly what our acne-prone skin needed!
Restore, Fortify, Heal.
A high-performance facial that enhances the skin’s ability to repair and re-strengthen itself, the facial began with cleansing and enzymatic exfoliation. This was followed by an essence infusion to tone and hydrate. One of the most memorable steps had to be the use of the wrinkle massager with a peptide around the eye area-it was shocking to see how the eyebrows and eyes lifted right after!
The deep muscle facial massage also helped to really wake up the muscles and give the face a more tight and contoured look. The mask was the last step and left the skin feeling super hydrated and dewy. Throughout the facial the decollete and neck were also given complete attention-which isn’t something that we experience often during a facial.
This facial left our skin looking dewy and the acne marks looked lighter while the eye area appeared to be much brighter. Overall, this luxurious facial is well worth the drive from Dubai and we will fit into our diary on a regular basis.
