MAKE IT A FAMILY AFFAIR FOR FRIDAY BRUNCH IN DUBAI ON THE PALM JUMEIRAH

Mezzerie at the Waldorf Astoria offers Friday Brunch in Dubai from 1pm-4pm.

We were invited to experience the New York inspired Friday Brunch in Dubai at the Waldorf Astoria. Hosted at Mezzerie restaurant, there is a choice of both indoor and al fresco seating overlooking the hotel central gardens. Given that the weather is cooling down, we recommend getting a table outside.

There is a live jazz duo that keeps the guests entertained and creates a vibrant atmosphere. There is an abundant selection of international cuisines from around the world and you can sample the Waldorf Astoria classics, signature Italian cuisine from Social by Heinz Beck, Southeast Asian dishes from LAO and other brunch favourites.

We quite enjoyed the extensive cheese selection of cheese from France and beyond. Next, we made our way to the fresh oysters and different types of ceviche. There is also a range of salads to choose from before you make your way to the mains. Freshly cooked risotto and ravioli are brought directly to the table. But if you want something more traditional then definitely try the roast that comes with gravy, creamy spinach and of course yorkshire pudding.

There is also a dedicated children’s buffet section, filled with chicken nuggets, freshly baked pizza, hot dogs and other kiddie favourites. Let us warn you though, they may be more attracted to the chocolate fountain that comes with lots of sweet goodies including marshmallows and strawberries. The dessert section has plenty of cakes and pastries to choose from and they also offer traditional Arabic desserts.

The Waldorf Astoria also has its own RTA water taxi station, so you could consider hopping on from Dubai Marina and take the boat across for brunch. The kids and out of town guests would definitely enjoy that.

AED 345 per person inclusive of soft drinks
AED 465 per person inclusive of house beverages
AED 600 per person inclusive of sparkling (Children below 6 years old dine for free and children between 6-12 years old dine with a 50% discount).
