Ni Hao to Nara Pan Asian Friday Brunch in Dubai.
We were recently invited to experience Friday brunch at the lively Pan Asian resto-bar, serving up a menu comprised of Japanese, Chinese & Thai cuisines.
With quirky interiors featuring Japanese street graffiti art and wall art by Cholo Juan, the insta-friendly decor includes, cherry blossom trees and brightly colored ceiling umbrellas.
The Friday afternoon brunch includes a variety of unlimited Hong Kong Style dim sum such as the Chicken Xiao Long Bao & BBQ Chicken Chai Siu. There is a live Sushi station with everything from delicious unagi nigiri, to spicy tuna to vegetable maki-you will find yourself going back for more.
There is also a selection of hot starters-each diner gets to pick two of each. They all sound very tempting and after some deliberation we picked the wasabi prawns, togarashi mushrooms, yellowtail sashimi and tuna poke. Each of these colorful small plates were beautifully presented and an explosion of flavours.
In the mains there are again many options to pick from and we finally decided on the chicken katsu and teriyaki salmon. Both dishes were a generous portion and we quite enjoyed sharing them. The vegetable noodles was a welcome side dish and again the portion was more than we had expected.
The savory courses will leave you full but do leave some space for dessert as it is a refreshing platter of fruit, sorbet and cream brulee.

The Friday brunch starts at 299 AED and takes place every Friday from 1-4pm.
