A GREAT SPOT FOR AL FRESCO BREAKFAST, LUNCH OR TEA, BAIT AL BAHAR HAS REOPENED ITS TERRACE RIGHT ON THE BEACH FOR THE COOLER SEASON
White sand, turquoise sea… now that the weather has cooled down many of us enjoy time outdoors swimming or sunbathing. Good news, one of our old-time favourite spots, Bait Al Bahar has re-opened their idyllic terrace, situated on the beach. Set away from the usual buzz, this easy to miss spot is also a convenient venue for getting out of the sun for a couple of hours without leaving the seaside.
This family-friendly cafe where you can even let the children play in the sand right next to you, offers a quiet retreat, with panoramic views of the sea.
Located at the beginning of the jogging track right by the Dubai Offshore Sailing club in Jumeira 3, the discreet three-story building has an outdoor terrace that just has a small white picket fence separating it from the beach-what more can we possibly ask for?
Giving serious holiday vibes, the paved terrace features a blue and white themed decor of comfortable lounge style seating plus regular tables and palm trees with huge fronds to provide shade.
Bait Al Bahar has a good breakfast selection, with avocado toast with poached egg (44 AED), homemade granola (31 AED), shakshuka (43 AED), mushroom toast (41 AED) to name a few – all at affordable prices.
If you come post-breakfast, there is an eclectic all-day menu that will satisfy all palette and ages. You can order everything from a large selection of sushi and sashimi (starting at 37 AED) to a sizzling fajita dish (61 AED).
We have tried the colorful Seafood Paella (74 AED), saffron infused rice served with freshly caught prawns, calamari and white fish. The portion was generous and served in an authentic paella pan.
From signature seafood specials to other popular continental dishes from around the world, you have plenty of options. A side of fries by the beach is always a good idea!
