Slaw is a local and homegrown burger joint with an uber-cool decor in the heart of Jumeirah.
If one of these days you are driving along Jumeirah Beach Road around lunch time, make sure you stop by Slaw, an indie burger restaurant in Dubai.
This homegrown eatery started in Jumeirah but has quickly expanded to The Last Exit and also Al Barsha. Â The vintage and industrial looking decor is dotted with playful touches, that make you feel like you are at a burger house in trendy Soho in New York City.
The brand prides itself on using fresh, premium and locally sourced ingredients. SLAW only imports its pure low fat US Angus beef patties and a selection of rare peppers (Mexico, Spain, Cuba, USA), for authentic fiery flavours. Mastermind of this creative concept, Chef Ali – better known as Mr. SLAW – leads the kitchen with genuine passion and years of F&B expertise.
The menu offers a range of inventive dishes, customizable sides, signature dessert and their most talked about burger, the Nashville-styled hot fish sando.
We stopped by to try their latest offerings-these including the fiery chicken wings that were hot but seriously delicious! We dug into the 5-piece Chicken Wings that were dipped in Hot Sauce, topped with Dill Pickles and served alongside a Cooling Ranch Dipping Sauce.
The glazed chicken sando is absolutely fantastic and one-of-a-kind. Made with Fresh Fried Chicken, rich, sweet Glazed Sauce with Berg Lettuce, Dill Pickles and Ranch Sauce. The soft potato bun holds the perfectly and this dish with a side of their skinny truffle fries was a huge hit on our table!
The truffle cheeseburger is another new addition and we can already tell you this will be the most popular dish on the menu.  Comprised of a juicy Angus Beef Patty, Swiss Cheese, Truffle Oil, and refreshing Roca Leaves with everyone’s favourite Zesty Sauce all wrapped in a soft Potato Bun. Another fun dish we tried is the crispy corn ribs that are topped with a light ranch sauce, mild spice and chopped parsley.
Slaw uses the best quality ingredients which means you can satisfy all your cravings without feeling too guilty about it! Slaw is that perfect casual spot where you can go with friends and family to enjoy a hearty, indulgent meal.
