Mina Brasserie is located at the Four Seasons Hotel, DIFC.
Business Lunch is always a great way to experience a restaurant in the city. We were recently invited to the newly opened Mina Brasserie in DIFC, where we opted for the affordable Business Lunch (120 AED for 3 courses and 100 AED for 2 courses).
It was the outdoor terrace that first caught our attention. A pergola strewn with brass tear-drop pendant lights, verdant planting and free-standing trees give the space an elegant vibe.
Moving through to the main restaurant area, the decor reflects the same welcoming feel of the terrace. A mixture of banquets and free-standing seating is cleverly separated with glass screens making each seating area more cozy and private. A collection of artwork by local artists nods to the history and heritage of brasserie culture and completes the look.
As a group of three, we were able to try a variety of dishes in the business menu. For the starters we picked pea soup, market salad with pickled pumpkin and ceviche. These light starters were a great way to build up our appetite for the mains to come. In the mains there was the risotto with chicken, grilled seafood with marinated asparagus and porcini ravioli. The pasta dish was the firm favourite in our group.
Although quite full, we decided to share dessert and picked ‘The Klondike’-raspberry financier, frozen raspberry and pistachio cake. An absolute hit on our table, it was also almost too pretty to eat.
