Food District has some of our most favorite restaurants all under one roof.
Food District is a brand new one-stop, licensed destination that brings together 13 homegrown restaurants all under one roof. Located at The Pointe this two-storey space has both indoor and outdoor seating-with direct views of the dancing fountains and Atlantis Palm Jumeirah.
The atmosphere is casual and the vibe is very relaxed. The concept is simple-grab a table, walk around, order and once the buzzer rings go grab your food.
We headed over on a weeknight and were surprised to see that it was still fairly busy, there were families, friends and even pets ( yes it’s a pet-friendly place) enjoying the fountain show and the cooler weather. Our decision to go on an empty stomach was not so great in retrospect as we were ready to eat everything offered to us on the specially curated media menu.
Some of our personal favorite dining spots all have a kitchen here including Reif, The Roost, Boon Coffee and Dibba Bay Oysters. The Lighthouse has created a new concept serving small bites here and we absolutely adored their cauliflour salad. If you are in the mood for a heart dish then the Nasi Goreng from Tandoornari. The sliders from Bite Me Burgers and the wings from Wingsters are also a good option for anyone who is in the mood for something more filling. The Roost has their signature rotisserie chicken and bone broth that is healthy and tasty.
The third outlet by Chef Reif is at Food District serving fresh sushi and sashimi platters. This is also the first outlet for the locally sourced oysters Dibba Bay and one not to be missed. We ended the meal with delicious saffron gelato and espresso from the bean experts at Boon Coffee.
Food District is an exciting new space with not just plenty of options but also top quality food made with the best ingredients.
Food District is located at The Pointe Palm Jumeirah
