Now that the outdoor weather is back in Dubai, we celebrated by heading over to the much-anticipated, second season opening of ‘Istanbul Nights’ at Rixos Premium Dubai. If you had been been there before, then you will immediately notice the extra injection of live entertainment and expanded venue.
Rixos Premium Dubai is embracing its roots and dedicating every Thursday evening to Turkish cuisine and culture, with a weekly celebration of music, drinks and food packed with entertainment, pop-up bars and poolside refreshment, transporting guests to the heart of Istanbul. What’s more, thanks to its indoor and outdoor setting across Turquoise Restaurant and Azure Beach, revellers can make the most of the cooler months and relax under the stars against the mesmerizing JBR backdrop.
Istanbul Nights features an impressive array of signature Turkish cuisine curated by the talented Chef Ciftci, a culinary master of Turkish fare. We enjoyed the live food stations, featuring authentic Turkish delights, including everything from meze platters to a shawarma stand and beef tartar wrapped in romaine lettuce. We thoroughly enjoyed the freshly grilled meats and heavenly stews and ended the meal with the most exquisite sweets like baklava and Turkish delights. It truly is a spectacular spread.
The evening doesn’t have to end after the meal is over as there are pop-up bars by the pool serving a selection of Turkish-inspired drinks. The live entertainment throughout the evening brings the best of Turkey’s singing talent to Dubai, accompanied by a live band and traditional belly dancers to provide authentic Turkish entertainment. A DJ then continues the festivities with contemporary beats for those wanting to dance late into the night.
