Novikov offers an interactive Friday brunch in Dubai with a selection of Pan-Asian food.
Novikov, the contemporary Pan-Asian restaurant located in the Sheraton Grand hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road, invited us to indulge in the most important meal of the weekend, the Friday brunch in Dubai.
The brunch begins with a choice of soup and the miso one we ordered hit all the right spots. Guests are offered an exhaustive selection of small plates that includes everything from fresh oysters to plenty of sushi and sashimi. Â For those who love dim sum, there are a variety of different ones to pick from-our personal favorite were the steamed ones filled with prawns. Â Other small dishes include a choice of fresh salads and tacos with duck and beef fillings. Â You really will be spoilt for choice!
There is a range of seafood, meat and vegetable dishes for the mains. The black cod was delicately flavoured with a yuzu sauce and went well with the fried rice we picked as a side.
The dessert is laid out on the side and included waffles, cake and a moist brioche served with cream and jam.
Overall, Novikov has a buzzing atmosphere that is accompanied with ambient sounds of favourite cover tunes by a live singer to be enjoyed with friends and family.
The Novikov brunch takes place every Friday from 12 pm to 4 pm and is priced at 370 AED for the Pei Mei package, 490 AED for the Gugo Yubara package and 545 AED for the O-Ren Ishii package.
