The Friday brunch menu at Jean-Georges Kitchen combines the restaurant’s signature dishes with new menu brunch items.

JG Kitchen is a casually chic café serving a relaxed collection of internationally influenced dishes. Owned by Jean-Georges Vongerichten, one of the most famous chefs in the world, the restaurant now offers a family-friendly Friday brunch that combines signature dishes with new items.

The brightly lit and elegantly designed Gwenael Nicolas lounge-style setting includes wood, stone and white shells. The exhibition-style open kitchen, gives it a casual vibe, ideal for a chilled out Friday afternoon.

The afternoon begins with a medley of salads and other appetizers brought out to the table. We adored the refreshing watermelon and feta salad and the luscious burrata with Sorrento lemon jam and toasted sourdough. Other favourites included the signature black truffle and fontina cheese pizza, the lightly seasoned kale salad and Hamachi with crushed olives and lemon.

In the mains there is an option to pick one item per person and includes crispy ocean trout sushi, eggs benedict with veal ham, slow baked salmon with truffle mashed potties, roasted cod with crispy potato, cheeseburger and veal milanese.

Desserts is a decadent affair with an assortment of chocolate fondant cake, the famous cheesecake and popcorn ice cream.

We thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon filled with good food, great vibes and music by DJ Stu Laurie.

JG Brunch takes place every Friday from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and the á la carte menu starts from AED 295 to AED 495.
