Signor Pomidor is a healthy Italian kitchen and fresh deli.
We adore pizza and that is exactly why we were curious to try out Signor Pomidor. Â Hidden away in Business Bay, the restaurant was completely empty when we walked in at lunch hour. Â Not exactly the best start, it didn’t help that the server was not very helpful when we asked for recommendations on what to order.
Left to our own devices we ordered a caprese salad (54 AED) that was not only very well presented and also fresh and tasty. Â Our order of margherita pizza (39 AED) was simple yet satisfying and the base was perfectly thin and crispy. Â The meat lasagne (61 AED) was not as impressive as the rest of the food but still hearty and filling.
The decor is warm and cozy-it would be a great place to catch up on work during lunch but there is no wi-fi available.
During the meal the owner approached us and explained that he tries to use healthy and organic ingredients  and the food is all prepared fresh.  Overall, Signor Pomidor offers wholesome Italian food made using traditional recipes passed down through the generations.
