Miss Lily’s is a laidback, jerk-focused Caribbean restaurant in Dubai.
A beach shack-meets-Jamaican diner, Miss Lily’s is an uber-casual restaurant located at the Sheraton Grand on Sheikh Zayed Road. Recently invited to experience this new joint we immediately loved the intimate space, vibrant atmosphere and old-school ska and reggae music.
The menu offers a variety of Caribbean classics made with a modern approach. We began with Jerk Corn (38 AED), Hot Pepper Shrimp (55 AED), Salt Cod Fritters (45 AED) and Curry Chicken Coco Buns (55 AED). The small bites were all distinct in their taste, and a delightful array of exotic flavors and textures. For our mains the Garlic Roasted Shoulder (420 AED) is served on a sharing platter and is an absolute winner. The meat is tender and the flavors sublime, we thoroughly enjoyed it wrapped inside the lettuce cups and topped with apricot chutney, pickled okra and raita.
The Banana Mousse dessert (46 AED), is a must-have. An indulgent treat that has just the right amount of sweetness, to end the meal on a high note.
Overall Miss Lily’s is a colorful venue that stays true to its Jamaican vibe and aesthetic and offers that same carefree mood and flavours of a typical Caribbean beach shack.
