EAT RELAX AND PLAY OUTDOORS AT THE FIRST SOLAR PARK IN DUBAI

Inn the Park is Dubai’s newest cafe located in the serene haven of Al Khazzan Park.

Living in Dubai we have all seen the big blue water tank and if you haven’t ever been there before now is the time to visit. Al Khazzan Park is Dubai’s state of the art ‘green’ park.  The ideal family park, it is cozy yet functional and is also completely powered by solar energy.  There is a fairly big outdoor play area for children to enjoy.

The added bonus is Inn the Park, a healthy new café overlooking the play area. There are tables spread across the greenery and the view and surroundings are delightful with the lush green landscape that overlooks the Dubai skyline.

The menu has something for everyone, with healthy organic range of eggs, breads and local produce used to make dishes like the ‘Crunchy Shrimp Taco’ and the popular Smashed Avocado with organic eggs, asparagus feta & mint. There are healthy smoothies and fresh juices and of course healthy salads. There is also a variety of artisan teas and homemade blends available to quench your thirst.

We thoroughly enjoyed our order of Turkish eggs (44 AED). A hearty spread of poached eggs served on a bed of whipped eggplant, yogurt and feta. It was topped with warm chilli butter and accompanied with sourdough bread. The scrambled eggs were simple but satisfying and came with dark rye sourdough and topped with severn and wye smoked salmon (55 AED).

The park also boasts of a library curated by the ‘Brownbook’ team–a bimonthly magazine that acts as an urban guide to the Middle East and North Africa. Visitors can take advantage of free books that can be loaned while spending time at the park or the café.

Inn the Park has a great urban and social vibe and is a lovely café with a chilled and relaxed environment for a great day out with friends and family. It is the ultimate tranquil escape in the middle of Dubai to relax, easy and let the kids stretch their legs on the swings and slides.
