Dubai throws up lots of possibilities for Valentines Day… You could send flowers, enjoy a romantic meal, head to a concert or cinema date, or shower your loved one with gifts – but what could be more romantic than handing over a box of chocolates that you lovingly made yourself?
We’ve just found out about Dubai company Xocolart, who offer chocolate making workshops at Organic Foods & Café in Dubai Mall – and their Valentines Chocolate Workshop on Sunday 12th February still has spaces available.
The three hour class (9am to 12 noon) will teach you how to make valentine-themed chocolates by cutting, filling, dipping, and decorating your very own variety of pralines, truffles, genache, and fudge (all made from the finest organic chocolate). You will also learn how to put the finishing touches to your chocolates, with a variety of techniques and edible decorations.
The price of 350 AED includes all equipment, ingredients and materials. You’ll also get to take home everything you make in beautiful boxes and ribbon-tied bags, so that you can surprise your loved one on Valentines Day!
If chocolate isn’t your thing, don’t despair, as the company are also holding a cupcake-decorating workshop on Saturday 11th February (5pm-8pm) for 250 AED.
