Enjoy French home-style food with a rustic décor and a garden vibe terrace at Bistro des Arts.
We were recently invited to a Bistro des Arts, a quintessential 1970-style Parisian bistro overlooking the waters of Dubai Marina. Serving a repertoire of classic “Terroir” French home-style food with a rustic French décor and a garden vibe terrace, we adored the setting.
We began with roasted Saint Marcelin (55 AED) served with bread. Rich in texture and taste, we enjoyed dipping the bread in the creamy cheese and wiped the ceramic pot clean.
The La Galette Bretonne (79 AED) was a thin buckwheat galette with wild mushrooms and persillade, a sauce made with parsley, garlic and other herbs tightly packed inside it. The dish was accompanied by a green salad with a light dressing.
Upon recommendation of our server we also ordered Les Petits Farçis Niçois (54 AED). A popular French dish of mini vegetables stuffed with minced meat it came with a delightful red sauce. This was a boldly flavoured winning dish.
Although quite full we went ahead and tried the Crepe Suzette (55 AED). The sauce was flawlessly executed and had just the right amount of sweet and zingy flavors.
Bistro des Arts is a charming and warm neighbourhood bistro that is an ideal spot to head to for an intimate meal with friends and family.
