We often find ourselves feeling nostalgic for the delightful street cafés in Paris, so we were thrilled to discover a café hidden away in the heart of Jumeirah that couldn’t be more Parisian in both its ambience and décor.

Hugo Café is homage to the famous French poet Victor Hugo, with posters of his famous work adorning the walls and his quotations on the tablemats. Other clever details include popular street names on the walls, dark wood panelling, and French windows. A sprawling terrace shaded by leafy palm trees makes it a great outdoor spot for quick bites and hot drinks. The rattan chairs are identical to those found on the street cafés of Paris.

We can’t think of many better spots in Dubai to enjoy a cake and a cuppa than this quintessentially Parisian café with its unique and very pleasant setting.
