Longest graffiti scroll in the world to be made in Dubai.

In celebration of the 43rd National Day of the UAE,  Shaikh Hamdan Bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council, issued a directive to organise a new culture and art project titled ‘Rehlatna’ (Our Journey).

In order to celebrate The Union the longest collaborative painting in the world will be made at Jumeirah Beach Park on November 29-30th, 2014.  Open to the public including families, citizens, expats and visitors in the UAE, participants will be helped by qualified artists to help paint the longest graffiti scroll in the world covering a total of 2,180 meters.

The art piece will take the shape of the U.A.E. map, portraying the seven Emirates and highlighting the crucial stages in the country’s progress throughout history, including numerous milestones from its golden past as well as the achievements of the present era and illuminating the promising future of the U.A.E..

Set to create a new Guinness World Record for Dubai, this is one event that everyone living in Dubai should definitely be a part of.
