When it comes to nail art, the UAE has a lot to offer… We’ve told you about 3D manicures, magnetic polish, and printed nail foils – and the latest innovation by UK beauty brand Ciate is equally unique.
The brand’s new velvet effect manicures and pedicures are exclusively available at Sister’s Beauty Lounge in Jumeirah for the next three months. Sounds weird? We’ve tried it and love it. The treatment gives nails a matte, fabric-like texture that looks and feels like velvet, achieved by layering a matte polish with crushed velvet.
Available for fingers or toes, it is available in three shades – Mink Cashmere, Blue Suede and Berry Poncho. We tried the latter and can highly recommend it for a stylish, sophisticated look.
Ciate Velvet application is priced at AED 60 for fingers or toes. Retail kits for home is AED 145.
