The ultimate place to find fabric in Dubai

Most Dubai residents recommend heading to Satwa to buy fabric, but we’ve always felt a little lost and overwhelmed in that part of town.   After several trips where we came home empty handed, we finally made a breakthrough when we stumbled upon a store located directly opposite the post office.

With plenty of parking available nearby, it is very convenient to reach. Step inside and you will be greeted by yards and yards of material covering every inch of the store. You’ll need a moment to gather your thoughts, as you take in the vast range of colours, patterns, and textures available.

You can find almost any type of material here – from basic jersey for casual T-Shirts to classic Liberty prints.   If you are looking for something fancy, check the on-trend section for a fancy jacket or the most sought-after Missoni prints. For more timeless pieces, look through the reems of rich silk and delicate lace.

The prices vary according to the material, but are generally very affordable. Remember that bargaining is highly recommended.
