 Sachajuan has become one of the hottest haircare brands in the market worldwide.  We were eager to put this coveted brand to the test given the buzz around it.

Our Sachajuan haircare summer cure involved three of their current best sellers : ‘Ocean Mist Volume Shampoo’, Beach Spray called ‘Ocean Mist’ and their moisturising cream called ‘Hair After The Sun’.

If you are not yet familiar with Sachajuan, the label comes from Sacha Mitic and Juan Rosenlind who opened their first hair salon in Sweden in 1997 and started to develop their own hair care brands in 2004 with immediate acclaim.

The Ocean Mist Volume Shampoo – 97 AED
Using an algae-based ocean silk technology, this volume shampoo is said to moisturize the hair follicles and help strenghten and moisturize our hair. We enjoyed the silky and soft texture afterwards and noticed our hair was less greazy than usual.

 

The Ocean Mist – 87 AED
We just adore the light turquoize color that makes you feel like you are on holiday while using it and we cannot get enough of the light salty water smell. Very convenient to use on clean dry or wet hair, we personally like to spritz it on our wet hair and then let them air-dry. This leave-in mist helps get some texture and volume into our hair and give it a fun tousled look.

Hair After The Sun – 97 AED
This creamy styling product made with an “Ocean Silk Technology” contains algae and helps restoring and re-moisturising the hair. We like applying it on our clean wet hair without rinsing it afterwards.

After testing it, we are keen on adding it to our hair beauty regime, especially because of the daily exposure our hair gets to the sun whilst living all year long in Dubai.
