Similar to a traditional straightener, but with far greater power, the Steampod uses new technology to leave the hair impressively soft and shiny. Better still, it doesn’t dry or damage hair and has five temperature settings (from 170 to 210’C).
Easy to use, the home model is far more affordable than visiting the salon for the treatment (from 300 AED).  You first need to fill the pod with water to create steam, before applying a special keratin hair leave-in treatment adapted to your type hair (sold separately). Divide your hair into sections and place your hair between the plates. It takes about five minutes to leave hair looking perfect.
The iron is a bit heavy to travel with and is not best adapted to very fine hair, but overall we are impressed, it is definitely an investment that is worth it.
