FIVE WAYS TO RECYCLE AND REUSE YOUR OLD LIP BALMS

Good news for the lip balm addicts! We have managed to find an excuse for our extravagant lip balms collection

Lip balms are these little tubes we cherish and always want to have by our side but almost always struggle to find them when needed.

That’s probably why we end up having so many of them, from our bedside, to car, bathroom shelves and other corners around the home.

If just like us, you feel like we should make better use of each little tube before falling for a new one, then, this article comes handy as we decided to share a few tips about how to make the most of our lip balms (especially the old and expired ones).

Here are these five ways to recycle and reuse your lip balm

1. Nourish your cuticles

nourish your cuticles with lip balm
Are your cuticles feeling dry? As most lip balms are made with coconut oil or karite butter, they will do the job perfectly to nourish your cuticles. Just apply some lip balm onto the cuticles and massage for a few seconds.

We also used the excess on our nails and they instantly looked much shinier without getting to greasy.

2. Make your perfume last longer on you
If you feel the fragrance of your perfume disappears too quickly, just apply some lip balm onto the inside of your wrists and then spray perfume onto them. This will really help the fragrance last longer!

3. Tame your rebel strands
If wax helps tame your hair, it is not surprising that your lip balm can also do so. A trick you can use for last minute hair touch up while on the go whenever you have a few rebel strands!

4. Smooth your eyebrows
You have watched a lot of videos highlighting how to smooth your eyebrows with gels or more. No need to buy a gel as your lip balm can do the job. Just apply some balm onto your eyebrows and brush them. You will be surprised by the result … and it won’t cost you an extra penny!

5. Remove mascara stains from your face
Here is another useful trick next time your mascara smudges and you need to fix it to avoid looking like a panda! Just apply some lip balm and use a clean tissue to rub it off gently.

First of all, the stain will disappear quickly and secondly, your skin won’t even get irritated thanks to the oil that helps eliminate the stain while rehydrating your skin.
