The accommodations overlooking the sandy pristine beach and the sea are designed to provide comfort, privacy and have a very warm feel as equipped with natural wood furniture.

Wondering what to do there? A weekend won’t be enough as guests have the opportunity to explore the nearby Al Qurm mangroves while kayaking, watch sea turtles, do fat biking by the beach, or visit the wellness spa on site.

We also heard about the Al Hefaiyah Mountain Conservation Centre nearby that you may want to include in your trip, where the rich biodiversity of the regions mountain habitats is protected.

You can book your stay through Sharjah Collection by Mantis which is about to open three other resorts and hotels that we cannot wait to feature and include in this collection.

TELAL RESORT BETWEEN ABU DHABI AND AL AIN

Telal Resort Pool in the UAE

Just an hour away from Abu Dhabi, reset your mind while visiting Telal Resort. We experienced a night there two years ago and still fondly remember how resourceful and relaxing our stay was.

The spacious bungalows are very cosy, comfy and well equipped. We really liked that the resort was totally surrounded by desert dunes and enjoyed our privacy at our own outdoor terrace. We loved the magical communal pool that has a unique shape, is surrounded by palm trees, rocks and is facing dunes.

We also have great memories of our breakfast there as the decor is impressive and makes you forget you are in 2018, in the UAE and almost feel like you are an adventurer in the 50’s exploring the world.

JA HATTA FORT HOTEL

If you plan a three-day break with the family, the JA Hatta Fort resort could be the one to book. Located in Hatta, the resort has been under renovation lately and is the perfect family-friendly destination. It is a spot we actually visited six years ago already (before its renovation) and we loved waking up at dawn to observe the quietness of the place, watch the gorgeous green lawns and the majestic Hajar mountains surrounding the resort in the background.

While kids will barely leave the pool – their waterfall rock pool is an attraction on its own for the little ones- parents may enjoy playing tennis, try archery or enjoy mini-golf.

The chalet’s interior is quite spacious with a high wooden roof that gives a safari room look. Complete change of scenery!
