Why always sit in the back when you travel? With Emirates Airline’s new flight simulator in The Dubai Mall, you can now experience the thrill of the captain seat, pushing forward the 4 throttles of the biggest commercial aircraft on earth. 

This fixed-based A380 flight simulator is the first open to the public in the Middle East. A team of young aviation enthusiasts will brief you on the basics before setting up the plane in whatever configuration you’d like. You can take off from Dubai on a sunny morning and land a couple of minutes later at night in New-York or in the fog in Paris. 

Buttons scattered across the cockpit and fancy moving colors on the cockpit screens might daunt you at first. Fortunately, the staff will guide you: Joystick in the left hand, throttle in the right hand, and any beginner can take-off and land as a breeze. Not interested to land? Try sight-seeing above Amsterdam or slaloming around Burj Khalifa, or even some aerobatics. For this time, your passengers won’t complain.
