The private beach at this magical hotel (part of the exclusive Aman resorts) is so pristine that we actually thought twice about walking on its glossy blonde sands for fear of desecrating them. A short stroll to the coconut grove rewarded us with a natural umbrella of shade, some comfy sunloungers, and a beaming lifeguard serving us chilled towels and zesty fruit sorbets. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we stirred ourselves out of our reverie and meandered to the Beach Club, where the seafood platter of prawns, calamari and seer fish grilled over a coconut charcoal barbeque was so fresh it made our soul sing.
