Adopt-A-Camp is a local charity working with laborers and labor camps for the last 8 years. The Ramadan Care Packages is an annual event held at the World Trade Centre and open to the public to participate in putting together boxes fill with basic amenities for the laborers.
Each of the Care Packages includes toiletries for 3 months, energy-food items for 1 month and other miscellaneous items that the men request like bed linen towels, socks, plates, energy drinks, etc.
As the biggest community-driven charity event, from this year onwards, the event is now the official charity event for the new Emirati Humanitarian Day commemorating his late, great H.H. Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, Father of the Nation and Founder of the U.A.E. who passed away on the 19th day of Ramadan.
This is the perfect opportunity to give back to the community and the men that help build our adopted city, Dubai. With such overwhelming support and donations, the event is spread over 2 days. We strongly urge you to fill your car up with friends and family and head over to help.
