Looking for somewhere with a fun, relaxed atmosphere to grab a bite to eat? Make the most of the last few months of cooler weather by heading to Riva, an Italian Restaurant based on Palm Jumeirah.
Overlooking an infinity pool, the beach, and a stylish beach bar, the setting couldn’t be more appealing for a casual afternoon. Outdoor seating is shaded with canopies, whilst a cool breeze blows from the water. The all-white décor and staff uniforms make you feel like you’ve arrived in an exotic holiday resort – which is, of course, not far from the truth.
We started our meal with an order of Grilled Tiger Prawns that had a good texture and a nice flavour. Asking the server for a recommendation, we also picked the Baked Aubergine Parmigiana (45 AED) – it was thin, crispy and moist, and we demolished it fast.
Keeping with the vegetarian theme we shared a main dish of Penne Arrabiata (60 AEF). Drizzled in olive oil, it was fresh and delicious, with al dente pasta and plenty of fresh tomatoes.
Riva is part of an independent beach club – and with a fee of 100 AED on weekdays and 150 AED on weekends you can enjoy all-day access to the pool and the beach.
