Giardino in Palazzo Versace Dubai is the ideal spot for Friday brunch followed by full day pool access.
We were recently invited to experience the Arabesque themed Friday brunch at Giardino in Palazzo Versace Dubai. This fashion inspired venue with a jungle allure has a very sophisticated yet relaxed vibe.
The brunch consists of interactive cooking stations serving a host of traditional Arabic dishes. We began with a colourful array of cold mezzeh-hummous, baba ghanoush, stuffed vine leaves and muhammarah. Although the dishes were refreshing and tasty, unfortunately the bread was not freshly baked.
We thoroughly enjoyed the fattoush, olives and tabbouleh that followed next. The hot mezzeh consisted of a hearty lentil soup and deep-fried kibbeh, meat sambousek and meat fatayer.
The next course was a hearty spread of Arabic style biryani, chicken curry and vegetables.
It was hard to believe but there was yet another course that arrived on the table. A mixed platter of succulent meat, seafood and chicken-it was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. Although quite full, we couldn’t help but clean up our plates.
The dessert is a mix of small cakes and desserts but it is the traditional Turkish ice cream that everyone should try. The different flavours include saffron, pistachio and rose.
Once brunch wrapped up we headed straight to the pool. A luxurious and relaxing spot, guests our provided with plush towels and daybeds to sunbathe or laze around for the rest of the day.
The Friday brunch at Giardino in Palazzo Versace Dubai is an indulgent treat followed by a relaxing day by the pool.
