An Iftar with a difference.
When it comes to Iftar meals served up in Dubai’s finest restaurants, there are so many options to choose from, yet it often seems that you get so many of the same dishes everywhere you go.
 ‘Ramadan Night’s by Dish’, the pop-up restaurant in Al Quoz’s Warehouse Four is back for another year, an Iftar with a difference.
Diners can ease into their Iftar meal with a selection of light starters including roasted garlic hummus, grilled flat bread with burnt eggplant and spiced carrot, lentil and saffron soup. Standout signature main courses including slow braised lamb shoulder in Middle Eastern spices, corn-fed chicken koftas and cured sea bass served with a freekha tabbouleh add that distinctive ‘Dish’ edge to the meal. There is also a wonderful array of accompaniments such as roast pumpkin, coriander labneh and mixed greens with a mustard and coriander seed dressing to leave the diner satiated.
A vegetarian menu has been introduced that features dishes such as Zucchini blossom with saffron and preserved lemon risotto, grilled broccolini with toasted almonds and charred eggplant with tahini yogurt, pomegranate, mint.
Since Ramadan Nights is a great option for families, this year Dish has also added a meal option for younger diners, jasmine rice with chicken tenders followed by chocolate and vanilla gelato with sprinkles.
 In keeping with local tradition, the sweet ending to the meal is a shared one, as the table is invited to join together to enjoy a ‘sundae’ of pistachio sponge, raspberry sorbet, mascarpone, fresh berries, rose, luqaimat and pistachio praline.
Decor elements such as Moroccan-inspired lounge furniture and candlelight, not to mention a combination of low and regular seating add some Eastern charm to the space.
The Iftar banquet will be held daily in Warehouse Four, Al Quoz, Dubai, conveniently located just off Sheikh Zayed Road (Exit # 43) and will have the seating capacity of 160. Private and VIP tables are also available for those who prefer a more intimate setting. In addition, corporate clients will have the ability to reserve the whole venue for their clients and guests. The price is AED195 per person inclusive of freshly made signature cold beverages and coffee.
