With cooler ‘winter’ temperatures guaranteed over coming months, we will be taking full advantage with plenty of meals outdoors. When we discovered that Pierchic, the gourmet seafood restaurant at Al Qsar, offers an affordable four course set menu lunch every day (175 AED), it was top of our list to try.
Situated at the end of a long pier, the two large sea-facing terraces boast views of Burj al Arab; an exquisite setting that makes the price tag seem very reasonable.
The set menu consists of four delicious, refined courses. Each is perfectly presented and sized, so you won’t feel heavy at the end of the meal. We chose Tuna Carpaccio, Gratinated Pumpkin Polenta and Beef Shot Rib Rillette, Black Tiger Prawns, and moist Marmalade Cake with mandarin to cap it all off.
It seems to be the perfect place to head at weekends for a gourmet feast in unrivalled surroundings – and it will certainly impress guests when they are visiting Dubai.
